Coldplay應該超多人知道的吧

基本上Coldplay是一個相當pop的英搖團

pop歸pop  Coldplay的一些歌其實還不錯聽

雖然大叔最愛的英搖團是Muse和Radiohead

不過在高三和大一的時候  大叔還滿常聽Coldplay的歌

只是大叔只買到前兩張就沒買了  因為後來迷上金屬

雖然很多人都說Coldplay過於"芭樂"

不過他們的情歌真的都滿好聽的

想當初大叔一聽到Yellow就覺得這首歌超讚的

當然或許有人覺得Yellow的歌詞太過狗血

但大叔覺得這詞寫的真的不錯  把對於愛人的傾慕寫的很好

到目前為止  Yellow、In my place和The scientist是我最喜歡的三首Coldplay的歌

不過真要比較起這三首  大叔比較愛聽The scientist

如果說Yellow是一首成功描寫100%的愛慕

那The scientist就是一首敘述分手的遺憾

不過比較起Yellow的淺顯  The scientist就顯得抽象許多

基本上從歌詞裡面  很難一開始就瞭解他所謂的science是什麼

據推測可能跟主唱的學歷背景有關

而science除了科學還有另一個引申含意: 需要煞費苦心瞭解的事

嗯...愛情或談戀愛不就是這樣嗎?

時時猜測對方心意與彼此間心機較勁  還滿煞費苦心的

所以歌詞裡提到  I was just guessing at numbers and figures, pulling your puzzles apart.

我覺得是相當有趣的比喻

雖然這首歌曲調比較平淡  但我覺得是首越聽越有味道的歌

特別是在心有慼慼焉的時候  The scientist是首抒發情緒的好歌

而In my place我覺得是一聽就會讓人滿喜歡的一首歌

旋律悅耳  歌詞不難懂  是首好K歌XD

In my Place感覺是在講"愛到卡慘死"

藉由歌詞的表達  讓人知道"好人"的極限

老實說  這首歌是真的有點狗血...不過還是相當不錯聽

不過同樣都是情歌  我還是比較愛Yellow

雖然在情歌的意思上兩首歌不一樣  不過都相當有"好人"的味道

尤其是Yellow那句  For you I bleed myself dry, for you I bleed myself.

而且如果真要唱歌告白  我想Yellow會比較動人

畢竟Yellow的歌詞雖淺  但還是要多琢磨一下Yellow在歌詞中的意義

而就連最簡單的部份都相當迷人

我個人解釋為:看那些星星,看那些星星為妳和妳的舉手投足而閃耀

嗯...肉麻卻簡單動人

我覺得這種淺顯的情歌比起一堆詩意的metaphor更加犀利感人
