今天要唬爛的是Pinl Floyd的Shine on You Crazy Diamond

Pink Floyd是個來頭相當大的樂團

因為這團影響了很多樂風

比方說:前衛搖滾和迷幻音樂

而Shine on You Crazy Diamond這首歌是在描寫Pink Floyd的前團員 - Syd Barrett

聽說Syd Barrett會自稱是Crazy Diamond

原因是什麼大叔並不清楚...

會是因為嗑藥(所以crazy)但又超才華洋溢(像顆Diamond)?

但是可以確信的是Syd是個迷幻藥使用者

即使Syd最後並非因過量迷幻藥死亡

但他被踢出團跟使用迷幻藥有很大的關係

不過這首歌的旋律和演奏的確很像吸食迷幻藥後產生的幻覺

不只這首歌而已  很多Pink Floyd的歌都有這種效果

如果看過他們的Live  他們會極度講究鐳射光設備的應用

煙霧繚繞、音樂迷幻、激光絢爛  是Pink Floyd常見的表演風格

再拉回這首歌...

Shine on You Crazy Diamond是極長的一首歌

而且大部分都是演奏

一般習慣目前主流市場流行音樂的人而言

對於這首歌...不...應該是說Pink Floyd的歌  都會感到相當不耐...

不過要是平常就喜歡聽演奏專輯或是喜歡前衛搖滾或金屬的人而言

超級長的前奏其實不算是障礙

Shine on You Crazy Diamond收錄在Wish You Were Here這張專輯裡

並且分為兩首歌...因為真的太長了...

兩首歌合計起來接近26分鐘...即使現在也算是超級長的歌曲

可是如果能融入這麼長的前奏所鋪陳的氛圍

那麼Pink Floyd的歌真的超級棒  因為已經陷入那種暈眩幻覺的狀態了

Dream Theater(DT)表示過受到Pink Floyd的影響

這從DT的專輯看得出來  尤其是近兩張專輯

除了前奏都是再比長的之外  還相當描寫心理層面的東西

而迷幻音樂更不用說  Pink Floyd經常使用一些riff去表示嗑藥後的知覺

有興趣的客倌不妨去Youtube一下Chemical Brothers

雖然他們個MV都很白爛而且也不是搖滾

但是仔細聽都可以察覺那種用音效去凸顯產生幻覺的效果
